Commentary

Acts 8:30-31 states, "So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, 'Do you understand what you are reading?' And he said, 'How can I, unless someone guides me?' And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him." [1] This verse is justification for having study Bibles and writing commentaries. Especially when someone first becomes a Christian, how is it that they can understand absolutely everything? A single person cannot know everything, but a great start could be to have more mature Christians help interpret. If Christians do not understand the truths of Scripture, then the kingdom cannot grow. So, one potential project could be to write a commentary for a section of Scripture.
